The below chart shows which of the popular items on the McDonalds menu have the largest price per calorie (defined as: total item price/total item calories). As you can see, the the side salad comes in as the most expensive item on a price per calorie basis, whereas the sausage biscuit is the cheapest item on a price per calorie basis. All prices in USD for the state of Michigan.
